Players, coaches and representatives of the Golden State front office, as the reigning NBA champions, visited the White House.


The Warriors met with US President Joe Biden, who noted the club`s outstanding achievements over the past few years.


The last few seasons have been pretty tough. You struggled in 2020 and missed the playoffs in 2021. Critics wondered if this championship team was gone forever. Guys, I know what it`s like. The Golden State is always welcome in this White House. Four NBA titles and six finals in the last eight seasons. Not bad, guys, " Biden said.


US Vice President Kamala Harris, a native of Oakland, California, also spoke during the ceremony.


I`ve been a Warriors fan my whole life. This team has always brought joy and pride to me and many of us. Today I`m proud of the Warriors not because they win. The players, coaches and everyone at this club consistently stand for the principles of fairness and equality. They do this with great integrity and excellence, " Harris said.


MVP of the 2022 final forecast by macedonia ranking series, Stephen Curry, spoke on behalf of the club and presented the top officials of the state with branded Golden State jerseys. Biden, as the 46th President of the United States, received a jersey with number 46, Harris - with number 1.

This is the Golden State`s second visit to the White House in the last 8 years. The club visited the presidential administration after winning the title in the 2014/15 season. After winning in 2017 and 2018, the Warriors scrapped the traditional visit for political reasons.
